About the Doctor

Robert B. Allen, DDS

A Charlotte native, Dr. Robert Allen earned bachelor’s degrees in biochemistry and chemistry with an English minor from North Carolina State University. He graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina School of Dentistry in 1999, and then returned to Charlotte for a one-year general practice residency at the Carolinas Medical Center.

When Dr. Allen launched his family and cosmetic dentistry practice in Raleigh, he chose a location in a historic area of the city that had been home to a dental office since the 1950s. He assembled a small, knowledgeable staff, dedicated to providing personal attention to every patient.

Dr. Allen furthers his professional knowledge through continuing education courses, including cosmetic dentistry at the Ross Nash Institute of Dental Learning and advanced implant restoration at Nobel Biocare conferences led by Dr. Sam Strong. Dr. Allen is a member of the Raleigh-Wake County Dental Society and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD)

When he’s not at the office, Dr. Allen loves to spend time with his wonderful wife and their seven-year-old Golden Retriever. He also enjoys outdoor life, particularly fishing and hiking the trails in his beautiful home state.
